DESCRIPTION
Do you feel that some regions could use some more love? I have you covered (at least for Slavic people)!
Do you also think that some regions are a bit empty?
This mod includes a large set of flavour events, decisions and historical accuracy changes for Slavs, bringing life to Slavic religion, traditions and customs. All the content in this mod has been thoroughly researched and is based on reports of events and descriptions of Slavic customs coming from contemporaneous travellers, historians and chroniclers, widely accepted theories by modern scholars and ethnographic materials offering an insight into ancient festivals, beliefs and practises.
This mod will add a number of events, decisions and innovations to the game for the Slavic peoples. Each of them fully corresponds to modern scientific views on Slavic paganism and traditions: during the development, the records of contemporaries and chroniclers and later ethnographic data were used.
Flavor Evens / Events
✽ 12 brand new events: take part in Slavic religious festivals, resolve incidents and disputes between your family, vassals and priests and get a taste of day-to-day princely life in medieval Slavia.
✽ 20+ Northern Lords events made available to Slavic realms, with culturally-relevant names and flavour where necessary (requires the DLC).
✽ 1 major decision - Seek a New Faith for the Rus' - that is directly based on the Russian Primary Chronicle and sparks a branching chain of 10+ events.
✽ 12 new events with which you will plunge into the daily life of the Slavic prince. Religious festivals, difficult conflicts between loved ones, subjects and priests, and much more await you.
✽ 20+ events from Northern Lords, adapted to Slavic specifics (requires appropriate DLC).
✽ 1 major decision directly based on the famous test of faith described in The Tale of Bygone Years. The decision triggers a chain of 10+ events with various consequences.
Religion / Religion
✽ A decision to choose your patron deity with descriptions of major gods, relevant modifiers and some brand-new icons.
✽ Revised Slavic gods, deities and religious terms based on modern scholarship.
✽ Solution "Identify a personal deity" with a description of the main gods, modifiers and original symbols.
✽ The list of Slavic gods and religious terms has been revised taking into account the opinions of modern scientists.
Culture / Culture
✽ Russian culture is re-named Rus’ and is now a hybrid culture of Norse and Ilmenian cultures, with access to culturally relevant Longships and Table of Princes innovations, as well as trial by combat.
✽ Cultural and religious events are available to characters of all Slavic cultures, with inspirations for some events coming from East, West and South Slavs.
✽ Russian culture is now a hybrid of Scandinavian and Ilmen culture; players will discover the innovations “Drakkars” and “Table of Kings” (for the Eastern Slavs, this innovation was renamed “Princely Table”), as well as trial by combat.
✽ Most of the new events are available to representatives of all Slavic cultures, although some of them are based on evidence from southern, eastern or western peoples.

✽ Separate Slavic faiths for East, West and South Slavs, with different deities, tenets, culturally appropriate terms and sets of holy sites.
✽ Unique cultural traditions for Slavic peoples.
✽ Even more events and decisions focusing on Slavic paganism, tribal and feudal life, drawing inspiration from different Slavic cultures.
✽ Develop separate Slavic faiths for Eastern, Western and Southern Slavs - with different deities, religious terms and lists of sacred places.
✽ Create unique traditions for Slavic cultures.
✽ Write even more events dedicated to Slavic paganism, tribal and feudal life in different parts of the Slavic world.
