DESCRIPTION

Notice: I’m currently working on a pretty major overhaul of the current American civil war framework I have to better represent the politicans and political shifts that occured, so it may be a while before a patch comes out. There are multiple notable known bugs right now in NFM, such as California flipping back to Mexico that may not be fixed for a second.

NFM is changes that I felt like making to improve Victoria 3, most notably focused around the US right now.

Major Changes Include:

-Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo

-Scripted Mexican-American War

-Able to try to purchase the lands from Mexico instead of war

-Added three different choices on how to extend slavery into the West, with large consequences

-Civil war scripted to have realistic borders (currently just slave versus free, will be expanded further later)

-Civil war can start via event if landowners drop to -20 approval

-Require an abolitionist president to ban slavery as the USA

-Various civil war events now have additional requirements to space them better

-Oregon purchase no longer requires the entire expedition to the West event chain

-Garibaldi goes global

-Clout influences election momentum

Better Ideology:

-Liberals are no longer pro-multicultural, but instead nationalists

-Unique Catholic church ideology

-John Brown’s raid events

NOTE: If you want to take literally any line of code from my mod and plot it in your own, go for it! I just want vic 3 to be more dope. Credit is appreciated ofc.
