DESCRIPTION

The mod is made to fix the the major historical errors Paradox made when it comes to the resources and population composition in Formosa. Formosa was transformed into one of the biggest wood, sugar and coal supplier in Japanese market during this period. It is simply a big mistake for Paradox to overlook one of the most important colonial possessions of Japanese Empire in this period. The following items were added in order to better reflect the historical economy situation of Formosa during this period: 1. The state of Formosa is now accessed to: - Gold mine (mined since 1890, was said to have the biggest gold reserve in Japanese Empire according to a US Navy report in 1937) - Coal mine - Sulfur mine (mined since 18th century) - Sugar plantation (since 18th century) - Coffee plantation (was introduced in 1890s) 2. The flag is now also changed to the Yellow Tiger flag of Republic of Formosa (1895). 3. Population composition in Formosa is now closer to historical estimate in 1890s. I have no idea why "Manchu" and "Han" are even a thing in Formosa at this period. 4. Name list for min culture are now expanded. Most of the name came from historical figures in Formosa around this period. 5. Aborigines population is now reflected under Polynesian culture, this will be changed to Formosan once name list and other researches on are done. In future update, I might change all the flags for Chinese sub-state, as Paradox didn't do any proper research on it, and just create random flags that does not reflect any history at the time, so stay in tune and enjoy!
