Tired of running into stupid randomly generated IG leaders?

This mod adds more of them!

This mod adds a new event for interest groups that allows players to choose a successor for a deceased/retiring interest group leader from four randomly generated candidates. Depending on the rules of the game, players can choose to nominate candidates for all interest groups, interest groups within the government, or only non-fringe interest groups.

This mod adds a new event for interest group, allowing players to choose from four randomly generated candidates for each passing IG leader. Depending on the game rule, player can choose to nominate for either all IG, in-government IG, or only non-marginal IG.

Four options, allowing player to choose from four candidates

Four options that allow players to choose a successor from the original randomly generated successor and three additional randomly generated candidate

compatibility

This mod does not modify any logic of the original game, and events will only be triggered by players, so it should be compatible with most mods. For mods that add leader generation event groups/mechanics, using this mod may lead to strange consequences.

This mod modifies character_events.100. Beyond that, it doesn't change any vanilla files and should be compatible with most mods. For mods that add IG leader generation events / mechanics, this mod might produce unintended effects. If that's the case >>>
