DESCRIPTION

This mod adds Syria to the game. It is a levantine country, having its own culture (syriac) and religion (oriental orthodox christianity). This isn't historical, it is a nation I created for myself in private. The flag is a mix of the Israeli (just cause I liked the stripe design) and the lebanese; the purple standing for Tyrian Purple, and the Gold for beauty, richness, etc.. I chose Jerusalem and not Damascus as the capital, because for me it is a more important historic center, also religiously. This is not meant to be a crusader state. The borders are adjusted to match the modern borders of Sinai, Israel/Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria (+Hatay) and Cyprus. You are starting as a rather poor monarchy with little industry and are surrounded by stronger countries that have claims on you, so it is important to get your economy up fast and fix the budget without neglecting your military. I added a little more resources and population (not much) to the region, so it is a little bit easier to buildup. Hope you like it, if something is not working as intended, let me know.
