DESCRIPTION

Only 1 to 4 L-Gates will randomly spawn on the map and you will have to be very, very unlucky to spawn them all.

 

All gates will be renamed to be easily searchable with the system finder ("F" key by default). To do this, simply type "gate" in your language in the search, as all languages in which there is an official Stellaris translation have been supported.

 

For Current Stellaris Version: 3.10.* (Compatible with 'Pyxis'): This Mod is programmed to run in version 3.6.* or higher from Stellaris, any execution in an older version can cause errors. Required Distant Stars Story Pack.

 

The option that L-Gate is not generated in the galaxy (selectable through the game configuration) has adapted to the code. This Mod will not be necessary if you will always have that option activated.

 

Although it is not likely to interfere with your other installed Mods (unless they also mod the L-Gates spawning), it is recommended to place this Mod as high as possible in your load order. This Mod is compatible with my other Mods that center the L-Gate on the black hole of the "Final Egress" system in the L-Cluster.

Settings for advanced users: Unzip the Mod. Open the file "000000000_l-gate_system_initializer.txt" inside Gatescommonsolar_system_initializers". Inside the function "distantstars_init_00" modify the property "max_instances = 3" between 0-9 (maximum possible number of L-Gates - 1). Then you can also modify "spawn_chance = 33" between 0-100 (second luck check. First one is at "modifier = { has_distar = yes add = 3 }"). Attention! Do not modify anything in the continuing function "distantstars_init_06".
