DESCRIPTION

Warning: I don't play multiplayer so I have no idea if this mod works in multiplayer.

I think L-Gates are cool, but I don't want them in my every game. I also don't want to completely forbid them from appearing in my games. So I made this mod.

The idea is to let you play the game without knowing in advance if there will be L-Gates, the same way you don't know if you'll see the Great Khan, or if there will be a War in Heaven. The mod does this by letting you set a chance to remove all the L-Gates at the beginning of the game. So you would know the odds of the galaxy containing L-Gates, but you wouldn't know for sure if they'll appear.

Please note that this mod doesn't tamper with galaxy generation. So if you feel like playing with L-Gates this one time and set the chance at 0%, it isn't certain that you'll see L-Gates this time because there's always a chance that the galaxy generated doesn't have one.
