Description
Star Wars: Legacy of the Old Republic is a total conversion mod that takes place after both the Great Hyperspace War and Sith War have concluded, starting 3996 BBY. Players will experience events from earlier in galactic history such as formation of Galactic Republic; control some iconic Old Republic events like Mandalorian Wars or Jedi Civil Wars to determine their outcomes; experience events during creation of Galactic Republic etc.
At launch, our initial release focuses on Mandalorian Wars and their precursor, the Jedi Civil War. Over time, however, our team plans to explore it further - not only through material from The Old Republic MMO but also newer additions from High Republic times such as content from that era!
Not everything was easy to adapt for Stellaris and thus we took creative liberties with some events to ensure they fit more seamlessly with the game.

Compatibility
Lotor is a comprehensive mod for Stellaris that will not work well with most mods available today; therefore the Lotor team cannot handle compatibility patches for other mods like NSC2 or Gigastructural Engineering; you should contact their developers, find someone willing to spend the time making one for you or try creating one yourself.
Exceptions are:
- Full Tiny Outliner is supported (Lotor must be set after it in the Playset).
- Vanilla Fixes is supported (it must be the FIRST in any Playset).
- Music mods.
- Mods that add things for you to select for custom empires, like species, name lists, shipsets, traits, civics, and so on, can work as long as they do not rely on vanilla technologies. Origins may or may not work or be balanced. Use them at your discretion.
Use UI Mods at your own peril; they could potentially conceal our custom resources, buttons and more.
Anything else must be tested by the player to ensure compatibility with their mod list.
Load Order
Lotor must be the last mod in any playset; the only exception is when a patch specifically for Lotor says otherwise
