This is only the start for Un Nouveau Monde - Colonial Overhaul ! We still have significant plans for it. Next update should include gameplay change for colonial nations and additional events addressing conflicts with First Nations. For example, we already added a fully functional diplomatic action to forbid colonies from colonising outside their colonial region or a Métis culture for Manitoba.
