Voltaire's New Nightmare features an amazing map mod which fixes it perfectly; but, its creator clearly had strange ideas on what makes for an engaging videogame as provinces appear as visual clutter that makes playing near unreadable; therefore I created a script which unifies disjoined land parcels to help readability; that map has since been uploaded; not perfect and does not place units into new provinces but increases readability enough that its playable.
