Voltaire's Straitmare is an addon mod for Voltaire's Nightmare II that adds straits all across the map ranging from smaller bridges that enable players to bypass province coastlines all the way to larger ones that provide routes between islands not normally reachable in VN2. This mod allows users to navigate using bridges rather than by navigation through province coastlines allowing access to previously isolated areas or regions within VN2. Voltaire's Straitmare adds new desert routes across Africa, Arabia and Central Asia - not just as an added convenience for players but to encourage aggressive AIs take over and defend lands they would normally find hard to access. If there are straits you are missing, be sure to let me know and I may add them in. Straits which span multiple sea zones are currently only capable of being blockedaded in one sea zone (typically that closest to the mainland), although I plan on not changing how VN2 redraws sea zones in order to resolve this issue; until I do so these crossings may remain this way and should continue working even for later versions of VN2.
