More Artifact slots
This mod might do what you want. But it won't do it elegantly and does it in the abominated way.
Enacting the decision "Reform Unused Court Artifacts" will turn all your non-equipped court artifacts into ones called backroom artifacts.
Then, you can equip those backroom artifacts in the inventory section. There are 16 slots for it.
Some of these items made this way is irreversible and you CAN NOT equip some of these artifacts in your court anymore.
To equip these items back in the court again, reforge them just like any other inventory artifacts. However, some of these items are not available to do that. Such as human bone, book, animal skull, banner. statue.

Combine Artifacts
Through decision now you're allowed to combine two artifacts. However, there are some requirements:
==========================================================
VER 1.1: @KeizerHarm approved it and now it works with 'Auction Off Artifact' mod and it NEEDS 'Auction Off Artifact' mod.
VER 1.2: Added some support for the reversible part
VER 1.3: Thanks to @KeizerHarm now this mod works whether you're using Auction off Artifact or not.
VER 1.4: Added Combine Artifacts feature.
If you want to use AoA mod with this mod:
Load Auction Off Artifact First
Put this mod below the auction off artifact and you're good to go.
Thanks KeizerHarm :)
As a side update, added a decision button in the UI that will connect you to the backroom reforge decision. This feature was also suggested by KaiserHarm. Thanks again!
FAQ:
Q: Why do this via decision rather than reform button?
A: Cause I'm a noob and I failed to do that.
Q: Isn't it too powerful?
A: That's the point.
Q: Why some items are not allowed to go back to court anymore?
A: In order to make reversible parts work. I have to define input type and input visual type in the blueprint file for every possible visual. However, some of them don't work and I don't know why. Yeah, I'm a noob.
Q: Why do these ingredient artifacts need to be relic or historically unique?
A: 1. It's based on the new event that was added with the 1.5.1 patch. I thought restrictions of this event breed creativity and decided to keep some of it.
2. This combined artifact feature bypasses all requirements like the sample picture in the main mod gallery. Besides relic artifacts, a historical unique artifact is the one with the requirement. Thus, I wanted to add one to bypass those.
