A simple mod that takes the Blood of Old Valyria traits from the "House Targaryen" mod and makes it standalone.
This way, the trait can be manually added to any character in the game.
I also made some minor changes to the traits stats from the original mod.
Q: 'What does the Valyrian trait do?'
A: Acts like the Albino traits, except good, with purple for the eyes instead of red.
Not to mention various buffs depending on which rank of the trait you have.
This trait has no chance of randomly occuring the game world so it must be manually added to your main character.
For those wondering, it does not override or interfere with the Albino trait.
I plan to make it so a character can't have both at the sametime, but both still function exactly as they should.
Each of the 4 traits has a corresponding rank, allowing for the traits to be upgraded or downgrades upon birth, depending on the trait rank of the parents.
------------------------------------------
Rank 4 - Dragonblooded - Recessive
Rank 3 - Valyrian - Recessive
Rank 2 - Low Valyrian - Dominant
Rank 1 - Noble Blood - Recessive
-----------------------------------------
The dominant and recessive inheritance chances were added by me.
If both parents have the trait, it is gaurenteed to be at least equal to the rank of the lowest ranked trait from the parents.
By having the traits recessive, it makes it hard to upgrade unless both parents have the trait.
Also the trait won't spread as easy and is likely to downgrade if only one parent has the trait.
With Low Valyrian however, that trait allows the other traits to spread, even though it might take a generation to pop up again.
(So keep it in your pants unless you want your enemies to start getting super powers, lol)
Please note this is not Ironman compatible, and is not fully compatible with the House Targaryen mod.
If you prefer the way he has the trait's stats arranged, you could simply take the "ASOIAF features.txt" and copy it into this mod folder, or vice versa, and it should work seemlessly.
I suspect that if BOOV is after House Targaryen in the load order, both should be compatible, with BOOVs stats overriding House Targaryen's. Haven't tested this though.
To add or remove the traits, simply go to the decision tab, or use console commands.
Dragonblooded (Rank 4) "add_trait valyrian_3"
Valyrian (Rank 3) "add_trait valyrian_2"
Low Valyrian (Rank 2) "add_trait baratheon"
Noble Blood (Rank 1) "add_trait valyrian_1"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Future Updates:
Ability to change your characters DNA to the Targaryen DNA from the House Targaryen mod.
Adding another few lines of code to prevent children from receiving both Albino and Valyrian traits as the sametime.
(Still looks as it should, just doesn't seem right.)

v1.1 - Released 2020-09-30
-Cranked the recessive and dominant percentages to 100%, because the upgrading and downgrading of the traits seemed to work better when at those settings. This way, the Low Valyrian trait will appear more often if only one parent has the trait, but if both parents have the trait, there's a chance to upgrade. -Updated to CK3 v1.1.1 -Actually put the mod file on the Paradox website. Apologies, thought it automatically uploaded like it does on steam.
