Description
“More Maidens” will generate for each court four, respectively five or eight girls and maidens at game start. By game rule, you can choose,
- whether to create lowborn, noble, from local ruling family or no girls and maidens;
- whether to create girls and maidens of the same rank or a mixture with the next higher rank;
- whether to create four girls and maidens of same rank respectively five girls and maidens of mixed rank or eight girls and maidens.
The four girls and maidens of same rank will be between 16–19, 12–15, 8–11 and 2–7 years of age. If you choose a mixture of different ranks, there will be three girls and maidens between 16–19, 12–15, 8–11 and two girls and maidens of the next higher rank between 16–19 and 12–15. Opting for eight girls and maidens will result in getting eight girls and maidens of same rank, or four girls and maidens from each rank.
Furthermore, this More Maidens-mod provides two decisions to invite either 3 lowborn maidens or 3 noble maidens. The decisions have a cooldown time of 5 years and can not be triggered parallel. Moreover this decisions will not be available during the first 3 years after game start.
IMPORTANT! It turned out, that designing your own ruler might cause problems, if the “on_game_start_after_lobby”-function in “on_action.txt” file is used to trigger the “More Maidens” event. Therefore, this will be done by the “on_game_start”-function. So to make sure, the “More Maidens” mod is working properly, you’ll have to set your game rules before creating the map (leaving the lobby).
This mod contains an English and a German localization. For all other standard languages, I added a localization using the English language.
Compatibility
There aren’t any incompatibilities to expect, because this mod doesn’t use or change any game files.
Because the creation of maidens is executed just once at the start of a new game, this feature has no effects on a saved game. But the decisions to invite maidens will be available in an already stared game.
This mod is compatible with ironman, but achivements won’t be available.
