DESCRIPTION

This is a translation of the Great Empire Wars Mechanic mod. Similar to a Great Holy War, this mod adds a Great Empire War mechanic that brings entire kingdoms of two empires into all-out war against each other. Great Empire Wars are massive, impactful conflicts that involve every vassal in their respective kingdoms, and often feature hundreds of thousands of military forces. There can be no white peace and war will rage until an empire is finally destroyed. In a war of Great Empires, every vassal of each kingdom is called to war as an ally, including the vassals' vassals. The scale of the war is enormous and the cost will be high. Two powerful empires will wage all-out war until one is finally destroyed. The defeated empire is broken into hundreds of independent states, each reduced to tribal governments that will continually raid, pillage, and wage war against each other. The ensuing chaos may also give rise to outbreaks of heresy in the faith of the defeated empire. A broken empire will remain in a state of total anarchy for many years. The victorious emperor will gain a powerful Winner of a War of Great Empires fame trait, 2000 fame, and distribute 4000 prestige points among his vassals, in addition to breaking up and tribalizing an entire region of the world. Great Empire Wars are very rare but can represent periods of major unrest that can completely devastate an entire region of the world, break up and tribalize an empire, claim hundreds of thousands of lives, and create decades of exhausting and costly conflict. To declare a Great Empires War against another empire, a character must have an empire title, the Exalted Among Men fame level, 2500 prestige, and can only attempt it once per life. The casus belli should appear against other empires. There is also a game rule to enable Great Empire Wars for kingdoms. It is disabled by default, but enabling it will allow kingdoms to wage Great Empire wars on other kingdoms and empires as long as they meet the Renown and Prestige requirements. This mod should be compatible with everything and is compatible with game saves.
