DESCRIPTION

Empire of Wight is a mod that adds in a custom Empire based on the Isle of Wight, that starts with only one barony but the potential to do so much more. Ubbe Ragnarrsson crowned himself Emperor of the Isle on the first day of 867, bringing with him ~5000 heavily seasoned warriors from Denmark, Frisia, and Norway. Will you see him rise to great power, or fall to obscurity under the crushing weight of the Catholics? Features - Adds multiple Titles to the game Empire of Wight (All characters who hold the title will be renamed to either Haakon or Harald) Kingdom of Wight Duchy of Wight County of Wight - Changes the Barony of Carisbrooke heavily Renames it to Kærisbrókr, if held by a character of Norse culture. Adds two special buildings: Theodosian Walls and Walls of Benin. Increases Development to 100. Changes Culture to Norse, and Faith to Ásatrú - Heavy buffs to Ubbe Ragnarrsson Sets his age to 32, so he has more time to be an excellent emperor. Increases his base stats from 6/4/5/4/2 to 14/7/8/7/8. Increases his Martial Education from Tier 2 to Tier 4. Gives him 3 more traits (Tier 1 Blademaster, Diligent, and Adventurer), aswell as upgrading his Hunter trait from Tier 1 to Tier 2 Spawns in an event army of 3000 Levies, 1000 Varangian Veterans, 1000 Light Horsemen, and 50 Mangonels that take no supply. Gives him 750 gold, 1500 piety, and 3500 prestige for an excellent headstart. Boosts his Dynasty (Ubbing) to the Fabled level of Splendor, aswell as unlocking the whole Martial legacy line, aswell as the first 3 legacies of Adventure and Pillage.
