DESCRIPTION

A very simple mod that moves Lothair II’s capital to Aachen, the heartland of the Carolingian Empire where the kings of Lotharingia had historically ruled from. Also moves the de jure capital of Lotharingia to Aachen. Reclaim the legacy of Emperor Charlemagne! In order to avoid going over Lothair II’s domain limit, the county of Nancy (which had not been established at this point in history) has been granted to the count of Sundgau. This is not particularly historical, but Nancy hasn’t even been established at this point in history. Please let me know if you can find any better historical characters to rule this territory, however. Recommended with Regional Immersion and Cultural Enrichment (RICE), which adds flavor events, decisions, and other content surrounding Aachen. Should be compatible with basically everything as this mod doesn’t touch any history files.
