Europe lay dead

By 1390 AD, 750 years since Muhammed's arrival in Medina, the Black Plague had killed over ninety-nine percent of Europe's population, leaving an entire continent silent. When the first colonists arrived from Iberia, they found a lush, empty land ripe for settlement. For anyone desiring an escape from the status quo of the settled world, seeking adventure, or simply a new beginning, Europe presented the perfect opportunity. It was a call few ignored and soon men and women from all across the know world were arriving to grab what land they could. The year is now 1405 and a new status quo has formed, loosely demarked by the various groups who arrived in these great migrations. They call their new chosen land Firanja.

But, as always, peace cannot last. The new monarchs of Europe see competition in their neighboring states, each desiring to be the dominant power in this new world. Will you be the one to make your mark upon Firanja?
