DESCRIPTION

This mod, based upon the fantastic "Build Roads Better", has been updated to the latest version of Imperator Rome. So what does it do? In it, a new button called "Build Roads" is sited alongside the "Build" button on the province interface. If you have the money, you can click the new button, whereupon the province will construct a road network linking it to ALL of its neighbouring provinces (which costs 50 denarii per province). This saves you the hassle of linking everything up with armies, crisscrossing your vast empires again and again, ad nauseam. It also has a brief -10% tax malus while construction is underway, but afterwards the province will have a permanent 10% supply limit bonus. Said modifiers work fine, and will appear alongside the other modifiers already in the base game (Procurators, Expanded Infrastructure, Expanded Trading Routes etc.). Players can still build military roads if required; they remain unaffected by this mod. WARNING: Mods that affect the GUI may not be compatible with this mod. Tested on Menander (1.5).
