DESCRIPTION

The “Cousteau” mod for patch 1.12.14 “War Effort: Operation Alpha” (5555) aims to translate all the elements hidden in the script files: names of units, models, ships, Frenchification of the names of leaders when it is necessary, etc.

A few important remarks nonetheless:

1) work is still in progress. This is a tedious task to do and the content is difficult to update, as the game is really not suited for this purpose. Each update can therefore take up to 2 or 3 days.

2) the system is sufficiently convoluted to favor crashes at the slightest problem. So if you use the mod, and "surprising" things happen, the easiest thing is to look in the game's error log, which should indicate if there are any problems related to the mod:

If you do indeed see strange things, do not hesitate to report them to my usual HQ -- and the same obviously applies if you have any improvements to propose (names of units, ships, etc.
