DESCRIPTION
Information

Adding map modes is not ironman compatible, so with this mod active you will not be able to get achievements.

Most map modes are updated daily and not on specific occasions. So if you think the map mode might be outdated either wait a day or switch off and back to the map mode.

Very few map modes are only changed on specific occasions and not daily, so they precisely change when needed.

Features

The mod currently adds 13 new map modes.

Core States
every state that is controlled, owned, cored or claimed by the player is colored depending on that status
red: owned, but not cored nor controlled
dark red: owned and cored, but not controlled
light green: cored, but not owned nor controlled
yellow: controlled, but not owned nor cored
green: owned and controlled, but not cored
dark green: controlled and cored
blue: claimed and controlled, but not owned
light pink: claimed, but not controlled nor owned
World Tension
every country is colored depending on how much World Tension it has caused
white: 0%
red: 100% (the more WT, the more red the country is; full red at 100%)
Stability
every country is colored depending on how much stability it has
red: less than 25%
redish orange: between 25% and 32%
orange: between 33% and 49%
yellow: between 50% and 74%
green: between 75% and 99%
dark green: at least 100%
War Support
every country is colored depending on how much war support it has
red: less than 25%
redish orange: between 25% and 32%
orange: between 33% and 49%
yellow: between 50% and 74%
green: between 75% and 99%
dark green: at least 100%
War Goals on us
colors the player's country in green
colors every country that has a war goal against the player in red
colors every country that is justifying a war goal against the player in orange
this does not include countries that "justify" via completing a national focus
Anti-Air Level
every state controlled by the player, the player's allies or the player's enemies is colored depending on what level the Anti-Air building has in the state
red: 0
reddish orange: 1
orange: 2
yellow: 3
green: 4
dark green: 5
Air Base Level
every state controlled by the player, the player's allies or the player's enemies is colored depending on what level the Air Base building has in the state
red: 0
redish orange: 1 or 2
orange: 3 or 4
yellow: 5 or 6
green: 7 or 8
dark green: 9 or 10
Technologies
every country is colored depending on how many technologies it has researched
red: has researched less then 10% of the current max
very redish orange: has researched between 10% and 19% of the current max
redish orange: has researched between 10% and 19% of the current max
orange: has researched between 20% and 29% of the current max
yellowish orange: has researched between 30% and 39% of the current max
very yellowish orange: has researched between 40% and 49% of the current max
yellow: has researched between 50% and 59% of the current max
greenish yellow: has researched between 60% and 79% of the current max
green: has researched between 80% and 89% of the current max
medium green: has researched between 90% and 99% of the current max
dark green: has researched the most technologies (flashing if the only country with that many technologies researched)
Our Interventions
colors the player's country in green
colors every country that has received expeditionary forces from the player in light blue
colors every country that has received expeditionary forces from the player in blue
if both is the case, the country will be light blue with a darker blue border
colors every country that has reiceived/given volunteers from/to the player in turquoise
Majors
works the same way as the normal political map, but gives majors a flashing yellow border
World War
colors every country that is currently at war in red
colors every country that is currently at peace in green
Spy Masters
colors every country that is currently a spy master of their faction in purple
colors all other countries grey (like the faction map mode does for non-faction members)
Guarantees
colors the current target green
by default the target is the player's country, however it can be selected in two ways: either by clicking the star over a country's capital on the map or by selecting it from a list in the GUI attached to the map mode
colors every country that is currently guaranteed by the target in yellow
colors every country that is currently guaranteeing the target in blue


Compatibility

HOI4 Version: 1.11.* (at least 1.11.4)
versions before 1.11 won't work at all, versions before 1.11.4 can crash when checking the Intel Ledger of other countries (delete the file in common/scripted_guis in that case, though some map modes might not properly work in that case)
should be compatible with any DLC
should be compatible with most mods (unless they add map modes with the same code name)
