DESCRIPTION
World Ablaze is a ongoing project to completely overhaul HOI IV to become more challenging, historical, and exciting to play. It features a massive expansion to the tech trees with unique equipment, focus trees, and large improvements to the AI, as well as numerous changes that improve the overall game play experience.
Each Nation has a completely unique tech tree and AI all with a unique flavor. (e.g. Each tank has its own unique stats that are different than any other tank in the game.)
This mod also closely follows historical statistics and dates. It extends the official game to 1950 with many advanced post-war technologies included. The start of the cold war and/or Operation Unthinkable are possible to play out in the mod.
- A much more robust and dangerous AI (more so when going down historical paths)
- Unique artwork for all new technologies (including vanilla ones) and focuses
- Expanded tech trees for all nations, with majors having unique trees
- An overhauled political/faction and economic system to better represent the monetary cost of war
- Overhauled focus tree’s for all majors and many important minors
- An expanded map with more historical states, strategic regions, and straits
- Overhauled, historical weather system
- A complete re-balance of the game mechanics
- New Decisions and events for a more historical play through (D-Day, Polish uprising etc)
- More realistic construction and industrial balance
This mod is incompatible with the majority of mods, especially those concerning the AI, Stats, Focus Trees, Tech Trees and more.
