DESCRIPTION

This mod is based on an alternate history scenario where the Pontic Greeks succeeded in creating an independent state through a revolution. After WW1, Greece and the allies decided to declare war to the declining Ottomans. The Pontic greeks that wanted so long to break free from Ottoman rule saw this campaign as an oportunity to rebel and break free from the Turks. Even though Greece had failed in the Anatolian campaign, in this alternate timeline, the Pontic Greeks together with some Armenian Militias with help from the Soviets in exchange for Armenia finally achieved their independence. But things were not looking bright for Pontus. Even though their rebellion was succesful, the country did not have a leader. And that is when Eleftherios Venizelos, an exiled politician from Greece decided to step in. And that is how, in this alternate scenario, Pontus came to be.
