SUGGESTED GAME VERSION
Adding "Wild Affinity Hearts" to map generation. These are high-end World Wonders representing natural-occuring versions of Magic Victory affinity nodes. They grant Affinity points and high economic bonuses, but also impose penalties while in their natural, wild state.
After being conquered, they can be "tamed" through a special operation, getting rid of the penalties and improving their yields.
Each Heart features a challenging Adventure, with its tiny story and event choices (also affinity-based).
The mod aims to alleviate a few issues I've identified with the game so far, these being
- no challenge in the late-mid/late game
- next to no world-based sources of affinity points (seeing a Heart available for conquest might shift the game plan to accomodate its Affinity's high-tier Tomes that would otherwise be unattainable)
- the Underground being fairly uninteresting, with no special features (aside from digging) to distinguish it from the surface layer - I wanted to add something that can only be found in the caves
Note that it's late game content, so it will likely only be experienced in longer games.
